Nazi Propaganda Ministry officials today denied reports circulated in the United States that Rudolf Hess, deputy Nazi party leader, had issued a six-point decree ordering Nazis to abstain from all personal relations with Jews. The order is said to have been issued by Hess was regarded as an attempt to intensify the anti-Jewish boycott in Germany in answer to the resolution adopted by the Geneva world Jewish conference calling for a wide boycott against Germany.
As published in the press, Hess’s “commandments” carry a foreword chiding Nazis for not showing the necessary restraint in personal relations with the Jews. The Hess order declares that Nazi party members must “make enormous sacrifices in the struggle against the Jewish spirit in Germany.”
