Charles M. Schwab, donor of a trophy to the International Bridge Tournament, has requested the withdrawal of any invitation to Germany to take part in the contests to be held on July 17.
The Bridge World, in announcing Mr. Schwab’s request, stated that the stand was taken in an effort to bring public opinion to bear on the German situation and move the Reich to rescind its measures against the Jews.
