Herr Goebbels, one of the leaders of the anti-Semitic Hitler movement was sentenced to three weeks imprisonment for insulting the assistant chief of police of Berlin, Weiss, a Jew.

Grotesque scenes were enacted in court when the accused asked the judge whether he was a Jew.
