Hope that an agreement will soon be reached which will permit resumption of emigration of Jews from North Africa to Israel was expressed here today by Dr. Nahum Goldmann, chairman of the Jewish Agency, on his return after two months in Europe.
Dr. Goldmann, who is also president of the World Jewish Congress, said the Congress coordinating committee will meet in September to decide if and when a Congress delegation should go to the Soviet Union and on the composition of the delegation.
