Recovered from his illness, Sir Osmond D’Avigdor Goldsmid, chairman of the Council of the Jewish Agency, will leave this week for the United States to participate in the sessions of the Administrative Committee of the Jewish Agency, which open in New York on December 31.
A number of members of the Executive of the Jewish Agency have already sailed for the New York sessions, which are expected to last three days. This will be the first time an international Jewish body interested in the upbuilding of Palestine will hold its conference in the United States.
