Mr. Dewey toured Negev sites, including Nachal Oz, an Israel village on the Gaza border, and Heletz, site of Israel’s first oil well. He also toured the Lachish development area southwest of Jerusalem and was impressed with the crops growing there. Today he met with Premier Sharett and Mr. Ben Gurion.
