Governor of Michigan Addresses B’nai B’rith Youth Convention

Governor G. Mennen Williams of Michigan today told delegates to the national convention of Aleph Zadik Aleph, B’nai B’rith’s organization for boys, that the nation must “perfect and launch an attack of democratic idealism and ideas to pierce the Iron Curtain.”

The governor spoke to the delegates to the 29th annual convention of the organization meeting at Michigan State College here. He stressed the importance of the activities the delegates were engaging in at this meeting as being of significant to all Americans.

J.J.Liebermann, Los Angeles chairman of the B’nai B’rith Youth Commission, spoke to the convention on the importance of Jewish youth preparing to assume leadership in the community.
