Habimah Theatre of Tel Aviv played to a “standing room only” audience in the Sarah Bernhardt Theatre here last night, performing H. Leivik’s classic play, “The Golem,” as the culminating feature of the three-month “Festival of Dramatic Art” organized by the City of Paris.
Critics and members of the audience cheered the performance, recalling the players for seven curtain calls. A large section of the diplomatic corps attended.
