Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, announced yesterday that it will hold its sixteenth annual convention on October 19. Mrs. A. H. Vixman is chairman of the arrangements committee of the convention, and Mrs. Frieda Silbert Ullian chairman of the program committee.
During the months prior to the convention the organization will concentrate its efforts on increasing its membership, according to Miss Julliet Benjamin, national membership chairman. The 304 chapters throughout the country are conducting campaigns to secure new members in a competition that will yield membership awards at the annual convention.
