Marking the entry of the 1,000,000th Jew into Israel, Hadassah, the women’s Zionist organization of America, today cabled the sum of $1,000,000 to the Jewish state.
The funds transmitted today bring to a total of $2,000,000 the amount of money dispatched by Hadassah to Israel since October 1 of this year. The current campaign goal of the organization is $6,535,000.
