A $1,000 fund, collected in honor of Archbishop R. J. Gushing of Boston by Americans participating in the “Marian Pilgrimage” to the Holy Land last year, has been turned over to Hadassah for special youth rescue and rehabilitation projects in Israel, it was announced today by Mr. Rebecca Schulman, national president of Hadassah. The $1,000 check was formally presented to Boston officers of Hadassah by Mayor John Hynes of that city, acting in behalf of Archbishop Cushing.
