Hadassah announced today that it had cabled funds and an authorization to its medical director in Jerusalem, to send a surgical unit to Turkey to aid victims of the recent earthquakes and floods. The unit will be placed at the disposal of the Turkish government. Hadassah President Mrs. David de Sola Pod made public a telegram and letter of sympathy sent to Mehmet Munir Ertegun, Turkish Ambassador in Washington.
