Plans for the building of a subway from Mount Carmel to the lower section of Haifa were completed here today by the municipality in collaboration with a Swiss company.
The carrying out of the project will cost approximately $2,500,000. The Swiss company is prepared to finance the building of the subway provided that the city gives the company a 40-year concession. The project requires approval of the government.
