Hannah Rosenthal, the executive director of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs, resigned. Rosenthal had headed the umbrella group for federation-affiliated Jewish community relations councils across the United States,. In her resignation letter sent Thursday, she gave personal reasons for her decision.
