Hapoel Hamizrachi Convention Elects Dr. Simon Federbusch National President

Dr. Simon Federbusch, outstanding Jewish scholar and writer was elected President of Hapoel Hamizrachi of America at its eighteenth annual convention which met at the organization’s Camp Hachshara, Hightstown, New Jersey. Dr. Federbusch, former Chief Rabbi of Finland, was one of the founders of the Torah v’avodah movement, the world-wide federation sponsoring the ideology of Hapoel Hamizrachi. For years, too, he has been one of its foremost theoreticians and interpreters, as well as one of its active organizer’s throughout Europe.
