Harry Bacharach will again become mayor of Atlantic City on Thursday. Mr. Bacharach, who was mayor of this city from 1916 to 1920, will fill the unex pired term of the late Anthony M. Ruffu, Jr., which ends in May 1932. He is now a State Public Utility Commissioner, which post he will retain for at least another year.
Mr. Bacharach, who is 57 years old, is a brother of Congressman Isaac Bacharach. He was at one time chairman of the Jewish Community Center drive of this city and is a member of the Beth Israel Congregation. Together with his brother, the congressman, he donated the Betty Bacharach Home for Crippled Children in Longport, N. J. Mr. Bacharach is a banker by profession.
