Funeral services were held here today for Harry Kalmanowitz, a leading Yiddish playwright, who died here Tuesday night at the age of 81. He was the author of more than 20 Yiddish plays and musicals. Born in Russia, Mr. Kalmanowitz came to this country in 1903. His works were staged in New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Boston and other American cities.
