Foreign Minister Emilio Rabasa told the press here Friday that the Mexican government supports the Security Council Resolution 242 on Israeli evacuation of occupied territories but also supports Israel’s right to secure recognized boundaries and to live in peace with full sovereignty. Rabasa made his statement after a talk here with UN Secretary General Kurt Waldheim. Waldheim told the press conference that the Middle East situation was very difficult and that a possible solution would take much time.
