Hart to Equip Library for Talmud Pupils

Samuel Hart, vice-president of the United Talmud Torahs, has undertaken to equip a library for the pupils of the schools at the Hebrew Educational Institute, in honor of his wife, who died last January. The project will be known brary.”

The announcement was received with great enthusiasm at the closing meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary of the United Talmud Torahs. Mrs. A. Raginsky, president, and Lyon Cohen, honorary president of the United Talmud Torashd, awarded scholarship certificates for outstanding service to Mrs. Harry Bronfman, Mrs. Barney Aaron, Mrs. Lyon Cohen, Mrs. V. Aaron, Mrs. Jery Segal, Ms. J. A. Besner, Mrs. M. A. Schwartz, Mrs. Louise Deitcher and the Misses Lillian Victoria and Annette Fainer.

The following officers were elected: honorary president, Mrs. Lyon Cohen; junior vice-president, Mrs. C. B. Fainer; president, Mrs. A. Raginsky; senior vice-presidents, Mrs. D. M. Notkin, Mrs. Barney Aaron, Mrs. L. W. Jacobs, Mrs. Harry Bronfman; recording secretary, Mrs. Leon Crestohl; financial secretary, Mrs. M. Ratner; social secretary, Mrs. Allen Bronfman, Jr. publicity, Mrs. M. Levy, and treasurer, Mrs. D. B. Cohen.
