The first national “Tag Day” of the Hechalutz Organization of America continues Sunday morning.
During the past three years the Hechalutz Organization has sponsored a Chalutz movement that now comprises a membership of 500. These young men and women have come together from different branches of the Zionist movement, and from outside of it, to prepare themselves as chalutzim for Palestine. They are also desirous of building a Hechalutz Organization which in the future shall enable the masses of American Jewish youth to adopt and realize “chalitziuth.”
