The Visiting Nurse Service of the Henry Street Settlement received a gift of $50,000 for the establishment of a fund for the home care and instruction of incurable cardiac children. The donors, who made the bequest on the occasion of their golden wedding anniversary, request that their names be withheld.

The income of the fund is to be used preferably for children under 16, regardless of race, color or creed, Miss Lillian D. Wald stated in making public the gift.
