Herbert C. Kranzer, United Hias Leader, Dies at Athens Airport

Herbert C. Kranzer, a corporation executive, who was a vice-president and treasurer of United Hias Service, died yesterday in Athens, Greece, at the age of 59, it was made known here today. Death, of a heart attack, came to him in the Athens airport.

Among his overseas activities on this last trip was a mission for United Hias Service, during which he was to take part in the organization’s migration conference in Geneva next month. He was a leader of the United Jewish Appeal, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, and CARE.
