The national council of the right-wing Herut Party, which is now a member of Israel’s Unity Cabinet, voted unanimously here last night to remain in the Government, “since the period of political emergency is not yet over.” The council also issued a statement saying that the liberated parts of Palestine — the areas taken from the Arabs in last June’s Six-Day War — “are part of the Jewish State, and the Jews have a right to their ancestral heritage.”
