The Vienna historian and Herzl authority, Dr. Tulo Nussemblatt, has discovered in the archives of the Paris Academy of Sciences hitherto unknown political documents of Dr. Theodor Herzl, founder of political Zionism. These were given to the Academy of Sciences by Dr. Herzl himself shortly before his departure from Paris.
Herr M. Reichenfeld, executor of Herzl’s will, has informed the Zionist Actions Committee about this find. The Herzl Archives in Vienna attempted to secure these documents a long time ago, but without success.
So far as a cursory examinzation has established, the documents form a very important political testament of Dr. Herzl. It is hoped that by the time Dr. Herzl’s remains are transferred to Palestine, it will be possible to publish the documents.
