High Bombay Post Goes to Young Jew

For the first time in the history of Bombay a Jew was appointed Chief Magistrate here today.

The appointee, R. Mathalone, is the youngest magistrate in India. He was educated in this country and studied and practiced law in England. He was an instructor in government law at the Bombay College.
