Major General John H. Hilldring, former Assist##Secretary of State and advisor on Palestine to the United States delegation at the ## and Dr. Chaim Weizmann, will address the national conference of the United Jewish Appeal, which will be held in the Chelsea Hotel in Atlantic City from Friday, ## 12, through Monday, Dec. 15, it was announced yesterday.The four-day conference, which will be attended by Jewish community leaders ## every section of the United States, will establish the 1948 goal of the U.J.A. ## delegates are expected to effect a major shift in the UJA from relief to re##struction and resettlement. The conference will have to decide the extent of the American Jewish community’s participation, together with intergovernmental agencies, ## financing greatly increased migration of Jews from the DP camps of Europe to Palestine.
