Nazi police chief Heinrich Himmler has been named Chief Resettlement Commissar for the Reich, it was reported here today. Himmler’s new assignment means that in the future all orders for deportation of Jews will come directly from him.

Appointment of a new Nazi commissar for the Lublin Jewish “reservation” in Poland was also reported here. He is Herr Zoerner, one of Hitler’s earliest collaborators and until recently Mayor of Dresden.
