It was learned here today that a Histadruth delegation led by Golda Meirson will shortly leave for the United States to meet with Zionist and labor leaders there.
The area of this city has been almost doubled as the result of a gift of land along the sea shore by the Palestine Government, it was announced today by Mayor Israel Rokach. The gift raised the total territory of the city from 6,300 dunams to 12,650.
