The press here makes much of a report that Adolf Hitler, notorious for his anti-Semitic agitation, kissed the hand of a Jewish woman, after he had assumed the Chancellorship of Germany.
The woman in the case is the Jewish wife of the President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Berlin, Renzetti. Hitler, according to the report, was aware of the Jewish origin of Madame Renzetti, because he was a frequent visitor.
Madame Renzetti, it is stated, hails from upper Silesia and is the daughter of the president of the Jewish Community of Gleiwitz, Kochman, and a granddaughter of Rabbi Kohn of Kattowitz.
The Berlin press reported Hitler’s visit to the home of the Renzettis but did not mention the details which the press here discloses.
