Landesgerichtsdirektor Hoffman, one of the two instigators of the German Dreyfus case, sentenced this week to disciplinary demotion, was permitted to resign from the bench without a pension, it was announced today.
The Federal Minister of Justice accepted Hoffmann’s resignation. It was declared that Hoffman will resume this law practice, becoming the attorney for Magdeburg firms.
