Sh. Vandenberg, a member of the Upper House of the Dutch parliament, has been appointed as the Non-Zionist representative on the Jewish Agency from Holland. The appointment was made by the Permanent Commission of the Holland Jewish community together with the council of the Portuguese Jewish Community. Dr. de Benedits, a judge of the Amsterdam district court, was selected as Senator Vanderberg’s alternate.
