The Netherlands Government has called on the Council of Ministers of the European Economic Council (EEC), now meeting in Brussels, to comply with Israel’s request for association with the European Economic Community. A memorandum sent from The Hague recommended the negotiation of a free trade pact for Israeli industrial products after a transition period. Israel’s request is on the agenda of tomorrow’s ECC session.
