Belgian television last night started screening the NBC-TV “Holocaust” series. It is the first time the film is being shown in its French-dubbed version. The film will be shown in four episodes and will be followed by a debate. The Belgian press stressed today the “positive and educative” value of the film at a time of Nazi resurgence.

Meanwhile, over 1000 people demonstrated in Antwerp last night to protest against the mounting tide of neo-Nazi activities. The demonstrators marched through the city’s streets after having first attended a public showing of the film, “In the Fuhrer’s Name,” produced and directed by a Belgian, Lydia Chagall. Among the marchers were members of the Socialist and Communist Parties, clergymen and a large number of public figures.
