Home Depot paid $50,000 to settle a claim by a Seattle-area man who said he was fired from one of the home improvement chain’s stores because he is Jewish. The man said a fellow employee at a Home Depot in the state of Washington subjected him to a series of anti-Semitic slurs and that he was fired when he registered a complaint with his supervisors.
