Honor Dr. Frankel on Health Work Anniversary

Dr. Lee K. Frankel. second vice-president of the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, was tendered a reception by the members of his staff, in honor of his twentieth anniversary with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.

The managers of the company from all parts of the United States and Canada who were in convention in New York City, attended the reception. Mr. Haley Fiske, president of the company presented a faithful service medal to Dr. Frankel, and paid tribute to Dr. Frankel’s work in connection with the development of the welfare service for industrial policy holders. The members of Dr. Frankel’s staff presented him with a gold cigarette case. Many floral (###) were received from Dr. Frankel’s friends in the health field, as well as scores of telegrams from nursing and health associations throughout the United States and members of the Metropolitan field force who were not present at the company’s convention.

Beside Mr. Haley Fiske, president, and the officers of the company, many promotion social and health workers attended the reception. Among others were Fohx M. Warberg, Ludwig Vogelstein Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hirsch, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Rafalsky. John A. Kingslory. Director of the Milbank Memorial Fund, Dr. Harry Issues, Dr. Engage Lyman Fisk of the Life Extension Institute, Homer N. Calver of the American Public Health Association, Dr. Edward T. Devine, who has recently been appointed Director of the Be(###)-(###) Health Demonstration. Charles (###) Johnson and John B. Press secretary and assistant secretary of the State Board of Charities, Mrs. Daniel O’Dea, Commissioner of the State Board of Charities Robert W. Osborn, George A. Netback and Mrs. Marie F. (###) of the State Charities Aid Association. Miss Jane Hocy of the Welfare Council, Dr. and Mrs. William F. Snow of the American Social Hygiene Association Samnel A. Goldsmith, Diretor of the Bureau of Jewish Social Research, Lawrence Veller, secretary of the Charity Organization Society and Dr. H. E. K(###) of the National Tuberculosis Association.
