House Immigration Body to Open Hearings on Refugee Bill May 24

The House Immigration Committee today set May 24 for the opening of hearings on the Wagner-Rogers bill for admission of 20,000 German refugee children to the United States in the next two years. The bill was reported favorably last Friday by a joint subcommittee of the House and the Senate.
