Hundreds of people protesting the contested U.S. presidential race demonstrated outside the Connecticut home of Democratic vice presidential candidate Joseph Lieberman. Democrats charged Lieberman’s critics with anti-Semitism for holding the rally on the Jewish Sabbath. Lieberman, who is an Orthodox Jew, was in Washington at the time.
