Hungarian Jews demonstrated in front of the Iranian embassy in Budapest against the Iranian president’s call to destroy Israel. The demonstration was organized by the Federation of Hungarian Jewish Organizations and Jewish youth groups.

Israel and the United States will resume cooperation on the Joint Strike Fighter. The United States sees Israel as a “valued and important” partner in the state-of-the-art combat-aircraft project, according to an agreement emerging last week after meetings between U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and his Israeli counterpart, Shaul Mofaz. Israel’s team will resume contact with the Americans in coming days, Israeli sources said.
