Hungarian requirements will be sacrificed to the Nazi “new order” in so far as the Jewish question is concerned, the Hungarian Minister of Justice declared today in the Chamber of Deputies, according to a broadcast over the German wireless.

The Nazi radio also announced that the Ministry of the Interior in Hungary has proposed a law excluding all Jews from seats in municipal councils. Hungarian newspapers reaching here today report that during a debate in the Hungarian Parliament on the budget of the Ministry of Public Instruction several deputies of the right wing government party demanded the striking out of a sum of 1,500,000 pengos, approximately $290,000, allotted to Jewish schools. These deputies declared that by doing so Hungary would be following the “new European movement.”
