The appointment of Israel G. Jacobson as executive director of the American Technion Society was announced here today by Col. J.R. Elyacher, president of the Society. The organization helps to support the Technion in Haifa, Israel’s Institute of Technology. Mr. Jacobson has served in executive posts for the Joint Distribution Committee in Italy, Greece, Czechoslovakia and Hungary.
