The International Ladies’ Garment Workers Union today announced a $100,000 contribution for the construction of a Histadrut Youth Center in Israel, to be named after the late Isadore Nagler, a vice-president of the union and former manager of its Cloak Joint Board. Following the announcement, President David Dubinsky presented the first payment, of $50,000, to Isaiah Avrech, representative of the Histadrut executive council in the United States.
