Immigration from the Balkan countries into Palestine was resumed today after an interval of several weeks. The first group to arrive were 26 Jews from Greece who came to Haifa by the overland route from Syria, after a prolonged delay in Turkey. Another contingent of 32 arrived by sea from Turkey.

The refugee students are now compelled to leave Japan or be interned for the duration of the war.
