George Thomson, British Minister of State for Foreign Affairs reiterated here last night that better relations with the Arab states will never be sought “at the expense of Israel.”
The British statesman, who returned recently from a tour of Middle East capitals, which included Jerusalem, also told a large and distinguished gathering at a dinner of the Anglo-Israel Association that “there are no serious problems between Britain and Israel.” He added that Britain’s policy was to “seek friendly relations with all countries in the Middle East.”
