The Michigan City police department announced today it has detailed additional patrols in the vicinity of Sinai Temple, to discourage a repetition of an incident last week in which obscenities and other markings were found on the walls of the temple. Terming the incident an “outrage,” a police spokesman attributed the desecration to “juvenile vandals.”
