A building to house the Institute for Negev Research is now nearing completion in Beersheba, it was announced today. The Institute will engage in scientific studies designed to aid in the settlement and development of the area. Its functions were outlined by Premier David Ben Gurion, who chaired a plenary session of the Scientific Council here.
