Interfaith Student Parley at Geneva Explores Concept of ‘chosen People’

Forty Jewish and Christian students from all parts of the world convened today at the first seminar of its kind here, to discuss “the concept of the chosen people and its presence in modern society.” The students represented the World Union of Jewish Students and the Federation of Associations of Christians. The seminar was addressed by Chief Rabbi Alexander Safran of Switzerland, Mike Hunter, chairman of the Jewish Students Union, Pastor Raymond of Geneva, Pastor Valdo Galland, secretary-general of the Christian students federation, and Pastor Robert Martin-Achard, of Geneva University.
