International Parley on Nuclear Science Concludes in Israel

The first International Conference on Nuclear Structure to be held in Israel concluded last night with a huge banquet in Heizlia. . The parley was held on the grounds of the Weizmann Institute of Science at Rehovoth, one of its sponsors.

A number among the nearly 200 participants in the conference described its session as “useful and stimulating. ” They stressed that considerable light had been cast on the mysteries of the nuclear and the atom during the past week. The Untied States sent the largest delegation, 37 scientists from government, industry and the armed forces, to the parley.
