Iran was given an extension to respond to an international incentives package to open up its nuclear facilities or face sanctions. The Associated Press quoted senior diplomats in Vienna as saying that the major powers behind the proposal — the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Russia and China — extended the deadline by a week to July 12.
