Holocaust denier David Irving was asked to be a contestant on a British reality TV program.
The London Jewish Chronicle reported that Irving, who was convicted in Austria for Holocaust denial, met for 90 minutes on Oct. 7 with producers of the program Celebrity Big Brother. Producers ultimately decided not to have him on the show.
Irving came to international attention in 2000 when he unsuccesfully sued Holocaust historian Deborah Lipstadt for libel. In 2006, he was convicted by an Austrian court for Holocaust denial.
