A total of $155,000 has been given by seventeen men to launch the $5,000,000 campaign of the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary.
The first contributors were: Harry Fischel and Sanuel Greenstein, $30,000 each: Morris Glaser, Mendel Gottesman, S. A. Israel, Nathan Lamport, Joseph Polstein and Gustave S. Roth, $10,000 each; Nathan Roggen, Leon Kamaiki, Samuel Bayer, and Roggen Brothers, $5,000 each, Mark Hurowitz, M. W. Levine, Abrhham Levy, Abraham Cohen, J. Siege, and Arthur $2,000 each.
